In August of 2000 I took my car to Aamco transmission shop in Johnson city tn. Where I was told everything was fine. 3 weeks later I go back to learn that I needed a new transmission. 3000 dollars later I am back on the road again.

In September of 2000 nmy car breaks down on my way back to school. Since itwas under warranty I took it back to Aamco, but this time I took it to Knoxville since it was closer. Three dsays later my car is supposed to be finished.

It wasn't. I drove for about 15 minutes only for it to break down again. We were told by Brown in Knoxville that he was not getting paid for the job, asif that was supposed to be an excuse for sloppy work. Then we were told that he did not want to see us again becuase we were rude to him.

It seems to be obvious form this Rip-off Report that AAMCO is a consumer ripoff! Did you see all the reports on them!?

I have opened an AAmco transmission center on Clinton Highway. At the time this complaint was filed there was only one Aamco. This complaint should be removed since it is 7 years old. thank you
