DARCARS maintenance plan is a lemon, Toyota does nothing to curb its dealers
I leased a car from 355 Toyota in maryland

I also purchased the DARCARS maintenance protection plan from the dealer for $900 that was factored in to my lease payment, for the 2 yrs i would lease the car.
I asked both salesperson and finance manager whether once the
maintennace plan is paid, and I choose to extend the contract
my payment will go down since I would have already paid for the maintenance plan. Both said yes, that once the plan is paid for it is paid for.
2 yrs down the road, when i wanted to extend Toyota said that by law they cannot decrease the payment, and that if i wanted the extension on my lease the payment would not go down.
The dealer when i went back to talk with him. Said that I cannot prove what was said to me. And that he has no rsponsibility in this case.
The dealer can say whatever they want to the customer and get away with it.
