I noticed the Xbid site on the internet, and decided to look into it.  I have used ubid.com several times, and haven't had any major problems.  It was extremely elusive the way they get you to sign up tp bid.  They don't tell you what they are going to charge, until it is too late.  It is impossible to bid and win an item.  They do not, and will not explain how the bidding actually works.  When the clock goes down below 10 secs, and someone supposedly makes a bid, the clock goes back to 15 secs.  This seems to go on forever, and an item never gets sold.  Ofcourse Xbid makes $.60 every time a bid is placed.  They charge your credit card $75.00 when a person purchases bids.  After a couple of bids, I realized what was going on, and decided to e-mail the site's customer service, and ask they some questions about there bidding.  They did e-mail me back, but would not answer my questions.  I e-mailed them back and demanded a refund.  They e-mailed me back with a list of items to return, and said they would do the refund over the phone.  Ofcourse I haved gotten a reply, an don't really expect one.  Thank you for you time, and space.
