I have been a owner at Westgate Town Center since 2005 and I have had nothing but problems everytime I called them for service.  The most recent occurrence happened today and it was reference mu maintenance fees.  True enough I was late paying my maintenance fees from the start however, I went on to my ownwer account on 1 July 2105 to make the payment and the amount shown for the fees due was $875.48 and I paid the fee in full which included lates fees and interest.  Nowhere did it state or reflect that I owed anymore money.  Now bear in mind, I paid the fees on 1 July 2015 but today 3 Aug 2015 I get a call from an unknown number and low and behold it is a collection agent on behalf of Westgate.  The collection agent told me that I owed them a fee which came out to be $176 which is 25% of maintenance fees.  I told him impossible because and that he needed to take that up with Westgate because I had paid the full amount due that reflected on my owner account.  So he just keep trying to talk to me an explain that the amount I paid was incorrect and that it should have included their fee.  I told him again before I hung up that was their and Westgate's problem because I paid what was reflecting as due on my account. 

So after hanging up from talking with this unprofessional, I called Westgate and the conversation started out pleaseant until they opened my account and tried to send me back to the collection agent.  I refused and demanded that they take care of me because I was their owner/customer and not some third party customer.  They basically treated me like i was a plague.  After talking with a customer service agent, who just kept giving my talking points, I ask to speak with a manager.  At this point the customer service rep told me that there was nothing the manager can tell or do differently for me that what she was doing. 

Now, I was starting to get a little worked up because my first thought was why in the Hell do they have managers then.  I continued to demand to speak with a manager and she finally placed me on hold and came back about 5 minutes later and told me that she would transfer me to A. Rivera (manager) but first the manager wanted to ask me a couple of questions and the one questions that really took me to the next was when she asked, "If I had requested to speak with a Manager at the collection agency and if not why would I want to speak with a Westgate manager and not speak a Manager at the third party collection agency?"  I was shocked by the question however, I replied in a stern and forceful voice saying, "Because I paid the money to Westgate and that I am a Westgate owner/customer and not some third party agency customer!"  I then demanded to speak with the manager and she said hold which I did for 3 more minutes and then ironically I got the supposed manager's voicemail.  All in all Westgate Resorts in a joke and the customer service is awful.  Run as fast as you can from this place.  I repeat do not get intangle in their mess!  I would not recommend Westgate to a Homeless person because I have much more respect for the Homeless person.  Use Hotwire to get hotel rooms in Orlando because it is much cheaper and hassle free.
