Wells Fargo Bank Wells Fargo Merged With Wachovia Bank, Duplicated my account then DOUBLED MY BALANCE!!! Birmingham alabama
I paid off my house with south trust bank in 2000 then in 2003 took out a home equity line then south trust was bought out by wachovia bank in 2005 by 2008 they merged with Wells Fargo, who began calling an harrassing me for payment on a duplicated account number with identical balance. Instead of deleting the duplicated account, they merged them and billed me for double of what I owed !!!
I paid intest only until they called the loan in full all the while I told them what they had done wrong to me, but then I got a foreclosure letter saying if I did not pay them in full they were going to reposses my home. I hired a morgage firm who stalled them in an audit for 1 year, thein the company also took my money and disappeared.
I had to pay them 107,000. when I rightfully only owed 48,000 to keep my house valued at 200k. I need a good lawyer I want to sue Wachovia asap. get my money back so this doesnt happen to other homeowners. WELLS NEVER PRODUCED ANY DOCUMENT OF ISSUING ANY FUNDS TO ME !!! They seriously RIPPED ME OFF !!
There are also shaddy companies who act like they will help who will rip consumers off too then they actually help the banks foreclose then buy foreclosures fix them up and flip them. Thank god I had the money saved to keep them from stealing my house!
