I am writing this letter to get a credit for my account in the total of $60.00. I called back on March 18,2003 to cancel my account. Your company did not cancel my account as I had requested that you do so in March. As you can plainly see I have not used this account sense then.

After spending 2 hours and 45 minutes on the phone with your so called customer service and billing personal I have come to the conclusion that your company does very poor business. I find it hard to believe that you support individuals who do not do their job and argue with your customers. I was taught that the customer is always right. It is best to try to satisfy a customer to keep them coming back.

However that is not your companies motto. I have shopped at Wal-Mart and Sam's Warehouse for over 25 years and if this is the service that I can expect from you I feel that my business will be better served going somewhere else. I just happened to look at my bank statement on August 25. 2003 and noticed that you still had not canceled me account.

I was told from one of you customer service personal, that I used the total of 300 minutes that totaled 6 hours of use. I don't know what kind of billing you do but in math class 60 minutes is 1 hour (and 60 x 5 is 300). It showed that I logged on twice. Once in February, and once in March. Your company has continuously over billing people and not canceling accounts as requested.

I am informing you that I am disputing this with my bank as well and will be sending a copy of this letter to the Better Business Bureau. As well as the Attorney Generals office so that they can look into your shady business practices. I found several people that put information out on the Internet about your Internet service and I found that every thing that I saw was correct.

I hope that you will credit my account for the money that you took with out my consent. That totaled the amount of $60.00. I called and canceled my service again on September 11, 2003. I hope that your company will not take any more of my money.

I have the exact same problem. I am glad to know I am not the only one being treated poorly by walmart connect ! They owe me 60.00 too! Unfortunately I probably won't get it back but if I can save another person from getting this service and dealing with them it will be enough for me! I will write a letter to their corporate office as well. Charter pipeline has been wonderful service for me if anyone is looking for an alternative in this area.
