I purchased a whole computer system from their TV program only because the deal was really sweet. They promised $450 worth of rebates in the mail. Once I filled out all the paperwork and mailed it all in (in separate envelopes as instructed even though they were all going to the same address) I waited the recommended 16 weeks to see a credit for the $450 on my credit card statement.
I ordered the computer in early Dec 2000 and did not receive it until the second week in february but they charged my credit card at the time of purchase. Every time I called them to find out about my order I was kept on hold for at least 1 hour. It is now september 2001 and I still have not gotten any of my rebates.
I've been calling the 1-800 number and it's been constantly busy. They are not listed in Pipersville or in the 1-800 directory. I cannot get on their website either.
I feel like such a loser for taking the bait....
