Discovered Ruth aka unicorn styles by angel on instagram , booked with her on style seat for box braids. I asked if she could do a house call I will pay extra. Can't walk due to surgery. I had to resume to work on zoom the following week, so this apt was urgent. She quoted me 100 extra from the listed price and we agreed. She arrived 2 hours late the day of the aot. Then I asked her not to braid tight, she acted as if I personally insulted her as if I was asking for something unreasonable. And then continued to braid tight as if I didn't ask her twice not to braid tight. I've been to braiders that don't braid tight and the braids last a really long time and look good without hurting. So I know it's entirely possible to braid without causing pain. The next day my scalp was on fire and having migraines all day. Toke tylenol and vomit continuously all day. 2 days later my scalp is throbbing. I toke more tylenol, did not think it was my hair. There’s no way I could explain it. Day 3 couldn't take the pain anymore, and toke the braids out. Day 5. My hair is falling out and scalp is bleeding. Went to doctor, they prescribed antibiotics and said I have to wait until everything is healed. My hair toke 5 months to grow back and I have irreversible damage of patchy hair and a damaged scalp. The doctor sttated my scalp was infected due to Unsanitary tools and had an reaction to Ruth bootleg hair oil. No telling what it is made out of. Ladies be careful when booking with social media stylist. It is not worth it.

Maybe if you weren't doped up and always high or tripping off shrooms you would remember. Your cosmetology license needs to be suspended.

I apologize that you had a bad experience with someone that did your hair, but it clearly was not me. I haven’t been making any house calls and would have never worked on a scalp as distressed as this. You may have had an allergic reaction to the hair you used. In my 25 years of braiding here I have had no one ever complain about irritated, inflamed, scalp or over tight braids. I don’t know who you are and I don’t have any record of you ever booking an appointment with me. If you had an issue with the hairstylist, the first thing to do would be to reach out to the stylus to see if they could correct the issue.. Asking someone to go out of their way to help you then insulting them is ludicrous and I hope you can find someone else to blame because I am not it. I consult with my clients and do scalp evaluations before EVERY service.
