I purchased a Umax scanner and it worked for a short time then I began having problems. I have sent 40 - 50 e-mails requesting support, however they are not answered. One day I sent 25 e-mails requesting help and not one was answered. I obtained their stated address and phone numbers. I have called every single department this company has listed and I get a scripted voice mail. This company has nobody even answering their phones. Beware if you are making a decision to purchase any of their products.

To: www.RipOffReport.com Terrible support. UMAX does not support anything later than Mac OS 9.1. They are in the dark ages. Further they don't care when asked when they will have someting that will support 9.2 or 10.0 they say, "We don't know". Now the thing has begun to cause my Mac to freeze when using Adobe Photoshop or Omni Page Pro. I spent a lot of money on this thing and it does not perform.
