I don't want to give my experience in detail because it's bad enough that I had to take time out to write this and criticize uBid.com, but I will sum it up:
uBid.com and all its vendors: Bad Quality in merchandise and bad customer service.
I ordered merchandise to be in for a relatives xmas present. Merchandise never came!! Money was taken out of my account!! No follow up call by uBid to explain what happened. Long time after I HAD TO CALL and hear that shipping had a problem!! I was denied to get my money back which I do NOT APPRECIATE. How can you take the money and not provide me with my merchandise!!
Never again will my family and friends and I use uBid.com you can bid on bad service!

As of today, my refund has been deposited into my account. Thank you UBID for keeping your word. According to UBID it was a postal service mix up that caused this misunderstanding and I will continue to shop on UBID in the future.

I have been calling UBID often, trying to find out what ever happened to my refund. I check my account on a daily basis, awaiting my refund. A refund that is never there! Why? I just dont get it. It's always a different excuse about how they processed the refund.
I constantly try to get a hold of Amanda McDonald who is in charge of my refund, but I always get voicemail. Upon returning my phone calls, i get another reassurance that my account has been refunded, BUT ITS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want my refund, no more excuses.

According to UBID this is a postal issue and I was told I would get my full refund in 10 business days.
IT HAS BEEN PAST 10 business days and still NO REFUND.
I Have CONTACTED UBID customer service again to see if they will give me my refund, manager has been out for 2 days!
I have been in contact via email with Amanda and Danielle from UBID customer care, still no RESOLUTION!

I have spoken with the customer, Mrs. Lopez, on Friday 1/22/10. Upon looking over both of the orders, we have found that the issue was through the postal service.
Both of the orders were sent back to the vendor as invalid address; however, she did have other orders that went to her same address with no issues. In this case it would appear that failure to research by the Postal Service caused the issue.
I have advised Mrs. Lopez that both of the orders would be refunded in full back to her credit card on file. Credits were processed on 1/22 and should be refunded back within 7-10 business days.
