Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Truist has overcharged me in overdraft fees for 1/2 the month in April   I usually try not to get fees but if a fee is legitimate and I honestly did not have the money then that's fine.  I'm well aware you cant get something for nothing.  I have overdraft coverage and thats what it's for.  I pay for the convienance.  I noticed in April that the fees had kicked up a notch for any little thing.  Not me, not having the money but when an overdraft did arise I transferred the money over from my cash app.  What's the problem?  Was I breaking a law?

Ms. Wingham had given me $200.00 in returned fees.  They owed me those fees.  On the 17th of April I deposited $272.00 dollars into the ATM and at that point I was not overdrawn.  Before the sun rose I was in the overdraft again.  They said the ATM HELD MY DEPOSIT!!!!! How does the atm hold the deposit?  It's NEVER done that before.  So all of my incoming payments the bank gave me fees for those resulting in a $300 overdraft.

I am not working and I have a disability which is RA.  I told Ms. Wingham I don't want fees given to me that are not honest but I have a Masters Degree in Human Resources and I know when I'm due a fee. Upon looking at my account the other day, on April 20,  they have charged me for everything that came through.  Eventhough I have a receipt and time stamp from cash app where I paid each thing within a couple of minutes of seeing it.  I don't keep money in my account because of them stealing and and the digital banking stuff.  I moved it over all day so I would not be in the overdraft  This month I am in overedraft 972.00.  And the month is not over.

Anyone can look and see something is wrong!  Never have I had fees in the excess of ANY month.  They already beat people going from Suntrust to Truist.  I lost money in that!  I had 5 bad debit cards. I still stayed  Then they changed my account to the new account and it could not link to my Cash App.  That messed my account up.  I want a total accounting of my account for the year.  And I want all fees back incurred through this.  Commonsense would tell anyone that 972.00 in a half a month is excessive.  If it was legitimate it would have been closed by now.  I am devestated!!

1.  What does your Master's Degree have to do with your knowledge of banking?  Obviously nothing- you can't keep track of your own money.

2.  Your issues have nothing to do with Truist.  You'll find this out when you move your money to a new bank and find that you have the same issues with them.  Your problem is your inability to manage your money properly to the point where you are trying to make deposits in time to match expenses.  Not a way to live a stable life without fees.

Don’t Troll me because it’s not your money! I see countless entries on this site about Truist taking fees. So what you are saying is everyone is wrong? None of this ever happened. When they changed over to Truist everything went left. So you’re the right one? Stop it. Go somewhere and pray. Because you’re hell bound and they are too! You’re garbage and do not know what you’re talking about ! That’s all people do take from the poor and give to obvious bastards like you. I said I wasn’t currently working. I said if the fees were legal they are fine. I don’t want something for nothing you wretch. But don’t steal! You’re a simp and not worth my time! You will be jydged so when your Karma catches up.

You are the idiot and what do you have to do with it ? Yes I know what it is and it’s called stealing. No way is everyone wrong on this site about them stealing. I have worked at a lockbox. Oh! I know your dumbness doesn’t know what that is and for various financial institutions. Why are you trolling this anyway. You are a miserable human being. I did not comment on any of these matters because I know the people are not lying. I transferred my money from cash app you a*****e! You have nothing to do with this. It’s not your bank and not your money. So what do you care? Ignorance is bliss and you’re happy as hell!

Face it...anybody with half a brain would want to know POSITIVELY what is going on with THEIR MONEY in THEIR OWN CHECKING ACCOUNT. However, the epidemic of LACK OF COMMON SENSE is at an all time high. They will not keep written records of their account usage and they will not read what they are agreeing to before they agree to it. When something goes wrong, everybody else is to blame. HOW STUPID DOES IT GET???

It is obvious that you have no idea how to manage a bank account.

When you say you want a full accounting of your account tells us one thing. YOU do not keep a written register, I would just about guarantee you is 70% of your problem. The other 30%...you admit you are spending money you don't have and accept the overdraft fee as a "convenience". Well, this month you are just having a lot more "convenience" to pay for.

You asked if you were breaking the law...yes technically if you are spending money you don't have that is fraud. Just be lucky the bank charges you a fee instead of sending you to jail.

Oh and contrary to your assertion, putting money into an ATM doesn't automatically post it to your account. Especially if you do it after the cut-off time for that day. Depending on what you deposited it could take 1-3 days to actually post.

Stop writing checks and authorizing debits against unavailable funds.

Maintain a current check register and clean up your act.
