Travelbridge Travel Agency Scam
Travelbridge offers an associate travel agents program that's supposed to save money on travel. Their promise is that they will get you the best price on travel at the time of booking.
I have spent thousands of dollars traveling and they have never even come close to what you can get for yourself on the Internet.
Furthermore, they offer a variation of a time-share that promises you the use of over 6,000 units around the world for a flat fee of $399 per week "including high season". We tried for over three months to get one in Hawaii only to no avail but were also told that it was going to be $469 because of high season.
We paid in excess of $4,000 for this program and have not realized a penny of savings in about one and one-years. But the real sham is this. One of our neighbors went to their presentation and bought a membership for over $5,000. When they told us about it we gave them our feelings and they went back to get their money returned. While there, Travelbridge lowered the price to about $2,500 and they stayed in the program. I'm not sure why our neighbors stayed in but that's not the point. The point is that being out any money for nothing in return is a "rip-off".
I wrote the president of the company in Palm Springs several weeks ago and have not even had the courtesy of a phone call as of yet. I was about ready to go to their Scottsdale office and start handing out flyers until I learned of you. Can you help?
