12-9-2021. Called Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services because a water heater needed fixed or repaired. My first mistake and my second was trusting Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services. While i was at work without my knowledge the "salesman" that was there had my wife sign on a tablet i feel in a rush. Nothing was explained to me directly at anytime. Most of the work done was done when i was working. When i got the paperwork for it i realized i was scammed. $38000 was their outragous price that they upsold my wife to sign in my name after i got off the phone. It was financed through two out of state banks one loan $25000 13% interest with a $28000 finance charge and the other one was $13,500 at 11% interest. $500 dollars a month for the next 10years. I called them as soon as i figured it out. Not one question was answered just smug answers "its out of my hands" and "our prices are our prices" i only called them to replace or fix a water heater now $61,176 dollar debt? And i am a desert storm veteran?? This place is veteran owned???? To get out of the high interest i had to get a home equity on my small home i just paid off. Ally lending and benji concord were making it as hard as possible to get out of. Then i asked for an itemized bill. This made the owner angry. Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services does not want you to know there outragous prices. $9800 for an $1800 tankless water heater i did not want. $10800 for one 200amp fuze panal box. $500 for a $22 dryer vent kit. And the list goes on. Not one explanation other than heated phone calls and dodged answers and blame on my wife. There was not a scope of work and the work was based on a lie. I only needed a water heater. A response from Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services is not needed. It will not have any answers to any questions just blame. Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services did not help me or my home they did what they wanted and pocketed the $38000 before christmas 2021. Who got the best deal here? Not me.

The amount tiger plumbing quoted us on was much different than the price i got. I went from just needing a water heater to work that was not needed plus financing. My wife was i feel rushed to sign in my name. This will be addressed and the lies that said to get her to sign will be addressed also. I had no knowledge of this businesses slimy ways to get the most money out of people and they took full advantage. This is a warning to anyone that does not make a 6 figure income.

Once again i had her call them for a water heater only. My wife was rushed into signing on a tablet IN MY NAME and after i got off the phone with her thats when the "salesman" upped the sale and made it sound affordable. I know you do not understand but its almost impossible for me to get off work. I trusted them to do one thing and lies were made to convince my wife to sign. Most of the work i did not need was done when i was at work i never got a chance to say no or hold on thats a huge amount let me think about it they seen a chance to scam two people and they simply took it. When i found out about buyers remorse i did in fact call them that day but got no help or renegotiation of the amount. I went from just needing a water heater to looking at a $61,176 dollar debt. My wife was working in the best interest of me but prices were hidden and they were not honest with us. Its not uncommon for Tiger Plumbing to do this. Check the BBB webpage and yelp please. I was misled by false advertising and lies. Nothing has been made right or what i wanted but maybe in time. I did not deserve this and its my opinion and experience i was scammed and ripped off to pocket $38000.

If your wife has a mental disability, then you should get a lawyer. Otherwise, she is an adult and shouldn't be signing things she hasn't read and doesn't understand. Not to mention, the least you could have done is gotten a written quotation prior to starting the job. I don't know where you work but in general it's not unreasonable to take a day off when dealing with a multi-thousand dollar issue. It's not illegal to charge high prices for services. Your wife agreed to pay it and signed the contract, so it sounds to me like the real problem is buyer's remorse. I am not even sure why you would ever start on a project prior to obtaining at least three quotes.
