Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My mom was approved to move here back in November of 2016 with providing a deposit. Unfortunately, her cancer took a turn for the worse and she needed 24hr care so I had to cancel the apartment and move her else where. We never moved in, only completed the application and provided the deposit as this community was still in the building process. We immediately notified the community and was told we would receive her deposit back.

After 6 months of no returned phone calls the manager Amy was kind enough to return my phone call only after I left an unfavorable review of the company. At that time I received the following reply to my review:

"We apologize for this inconvenience. We believe this has occurred due to a technical glitch, and sincerely apologize for your inability to connect with our Property Manager. Please contact Mr. Enders directly at 972.510.7427 so that we can make immediate arrangements to refund your mother's deposit. Again, we sincerely apologize and look forward to correcting this error."

It is now September 2017, 10 months from the original date of our deposit refund request. Contacting Mr.Enders has been unsuccessful to say the least. The situation in itself is disheartening because this is a senior community. The money is not the issue more than the moral of how the situation has been handled. If no money is due we are fine with someone just saying that instead of the down right disrespectful service we have been receiving over the last 10 months for such a small deposit.

Please be aware of the companies that cater to our eldery. Customer service should be first priority in any business even moreso when dealing with seniors who may or may not be able to conduct business themselves due to terminal illneseses. At some point we most push profits aside and serve with compassion.  I can only pray these people or their senior relatives never have to experience the same treatment we have received from them.
