It is not Staples' fault. I always buy the insurance crap you talk about, it helps a lot I've replaced a couple of things and have saved money. The problem you have is with HP, I've had four laptops of their's replaced. They get virus' easily, I might suggest APPLE, but they're not great with customer service, Dell is but they just want your money. Staples helps, and it's true it sucks when they say that the prolbme was caused by you, when you don't think it did. That's just another way of saying that it would have not happened if you hadn't done something. There are some things they cover and some they don't that's why you should always read the policy and if you have questions always ask someone to explaine everything to you. HP tries but they are not the greatest in products. Well good luck with your stuff.

Shopping for Computers: I shop at all stores. I personally think that Best buy is a rip off due to "restocking fees" , Walmart with bad CSM's who doesnt honor their return policy or just too dumb to understand what software and hardware differences to follow through the policy. Circuit City just gives me a weird funky vibe every time, like waiting to be stabbed by a dull jagged sword. Now Staples, so far so good, I have bought a laptop computer and realized it was not fast enough for my working environment, I returned it and they helped me all the way, returned the money, they even offered to lower the price on a high priced gaming laptop to just help me out. They were 5 stars on my list. I am going back for the black friday 2006 to buy another laptop. Kudos to yall. Customer from TX

I bought an HP Notebook at Staples after my previous PC and warranty at Best Buy was a total nightmare. About a year later, the screen cracked, probably from cold weather which would be my fault. Staples replaced my HP on the spot with an even newer, better HP. This is almost unheard of in the retail PC business, and I now swear by Staples for all tech purchases. The quality of service might vary from store to store or region to region though.
