 I have been a customer with Sprint Pcs for 8 years and I recently upgraded my plan and was not told that my employee discount would not be applied to all of my services like its been for 8 years. Now that I have an unlimited family plan it is only discounted towards the data portion of the plan. Also they took my additional 10.00 credit that i got monthly because I upgraded my services. My bill went from 58.00 to 165.00 per month.  I was expecting a bill of 113.50 plus tax per month. When I was in the Sprint store I reviewed the package and price of 113.50 + tax with the representative but when I got the bill it was not what we discussed and when I went into the store that rep then told me that the discounted is not the way we discussed and denied that we did not review what I said we did. I was so upset and they did nothing but give me 50.00 credit. I am now not going to pay my bill and will cry when it goes towards my credit. I have good credit and will never ever be a Sprint pcs customer again. I have had Representatives hang up on me from sprint. Their supervisors are rarely available and you never get anywhere speaking to them. The price of my plan kept me a customer for so long not the customer serice. Also the cell service is horrible and always drops calls.

Now you have done it. By accepting the $50 credit Sprint just hooked you in to having to pay an ETF even if your contract expires tomorrow (which in your case I know it does not). I had similar issues and when my phone would not send or receive calls again, I had enough and called to cancel my account. I had been a customer for years. My phone kept acting up and every time they would say to bring it in. Each time they said it was a software issue and sometimes attempted to charge me.

Soon after, the problem would reoccur. Did not want a new phone since I did not want to enter into a new contract with this shady company.   When I called to cancel it was one day into the next billing cycle. They said their policy was no pro-rating and they charged me the entire monthly fee (for 1 day of service) over my protests.  Then they said I had to pay nearly $200 ETF.  When I reminded them my contract had long since expired they said since I upgrade my phone earlier, the contract renewed at that point.

I stated my phone was years old then they changed their story and said because I had accepted a $50 credit months before (due to poor service complaint) I had to pay entire ETF amount. I reminded them I just paid for a whole month of service after cancelling one day into cycle, and to show me in writing where I agreed to extend my contract when I got the $50 credit. Was told they did not have to. I said if it was their policy to not pro-rate charges it was my policy to not pay bogues ETF's. 

They have sent collections lettter after letter but I refuse to pay this crooked company any more for nothing.  They have tried to ruin my credit report (it is the only thing negative on it) but I will die befoe they get one cent out of me. They lied repeatedly to me, constantly overcharged me, even billed my credit card without authorization until I had to close that credit card account so they would not keep stealing my money.  Will never do any business with Sprint and have warned all my friends about their practices.
