 Booked with Expedia used Sun Country to get To Las Vegas from Mpls. with no problems. We were supposed to fly back to Mpls.(home) from Las Vegas on Friday 1:30 AM on the 19th. We received an e-mail 2 hours prior saying the flight wascancelled due to understaffing, rescheduled 24 hours later with no compensation. When we called (waiting 2 hours) they said there was nothing they could do for us and no other flights till Sun. the 21st at 1:00 AM.

We asked what we were supposed to do about a hotel and food and they said unable to help with that situation,we paid out of pocket for hotel and food $234.00.  Our 2nd flight got cancelled they put us up in a hotel with a voucher for food,Spirit customer service people were rude and unsymathetic, after we explained I had missed one day of work already , and our dog sitter had prior engagements which he ended up having to cancel.

We went to the airport Sunday morning with hopes of flying out at 5:00 Am, we found out that flight was also cancelled because of the time diffrence and we would miss our connection in LA. Waited 4 more hours with hopes on getting on to the next flight. We finally got on American with layover in Phoenix arrived back to Mpls. Sunday night at 5:30pm.
