I was completely scammed by this company. I called the phone number and spoke to a representative before mailing my phone and even sent an email. The website is the most misleading site ever. I sent them a locked iPhone 11 Pro worth over $1000 and they sent me nothing. I made it VERY clear that my iPhone was locked during my phone conversation and email and I was told that it didn’t matter they still will buy it.

They did not email me The terms and conditions until after they inspected my device saying that all financed or blacklisted devices would not be returned and would only be Earn $5! The terms and conditions are not visible on their mobile site unless you slide up a bar. I have copies of the emails to this company where I was duped into sending my locked phone from Angela Helmuth. Please use the other companies on the website.

There is no Trustpilot info on this site and it’s domain was just registered in March of 2020. It’s a shame that during COVID when consumers are financially struggling, that they scam people out of very expensive phones. I sent them a like new iPhone 11 Pro, 256 GB in its original packaging and they paid me nothing. If there terms and conditions were on the original offer email like it was when they denied me money, I would have never sent them my locked phone, for there are various other companies that make it clear on their site. And that is why I verbally called to speak to someone twice and verified the offer and phone’s locked condition and was PROMISED my payment.

I Clearly Conveyed It Was Locked

Consumers! Please read my emails to Angela. I CLEARLY stated that it was locked. She and her associate assured me that they buy both unlocked and locked phones. She nor her associate communicated that it would be $5 for all locked phones regardless of issue. DO NOT SEND ANY LOCKED PHONES TO THEM.

They will not pay you any money or send you back item. If you have, please email me at [email protected] so that we can file a class action lawsuit against this company and hopefully sue the individuals involved. Who would ever accept $5 for a phone?! Again, this is a pop-up shop that registered its domain in March of 2020. I only gave them a chance because I got verbal confirmation from them. They lied.

Don’t beware. Avoid this company. Go with the websites that have clear terms on their submission forms and ask you about the phone being locked. How dishonest must they be to not even return phone to T-mobile and you can see is requested by in my screenshots of a chat with a T-mobile associate.

SMARTLIQUIDATOR IS NOT INTERESTED IN LOST/STOLEN MERCHANDISE

The device shipped in to us by this customer was registered with T-Mobile as being lost/stolen. The Apple GSX server has also listed this device as lost/stolen. I think the word of Apple (a trillion dollar mulitinational corporation) holds more sway than the word of Ms. Stokes. Didnt think this would ever have to be explained, but it is illegal in the United States to knowingly purchase lost/stolen property.

This device will be scrapped and we are not interested in buying it. Per the Terms of Service that a customer MUST agree to to even use our services our policies are clearly outlined and the Terms of Service is located on every page the company website.

Angela Helmuth Deliberately Lied

She stated that my phone was reported lost or stolen and was blacklisted and involved in a claim already. The phone was not blacklisted and there was no claim involved. It was reported lost and that is why the account was suspended. I just wanted to get money to pay off the phone. Angela refuses to give the phone back to T-mobile. I contacted T-Mobile and Assurant to confirm there was not claim. And I proved it was not stolen, for my phone records match the IMEI.
