Sherry Rodarmor of Shefaro is nothing more than a low life puppy miller with a hard on for breeders more successful than she which turns out to be like 15/16's of the population of planet Earth.
She has bred over 120 litters of sub-standard and defective Borzoi in 30 years. Check with the Borzoi club of America, they won't recommend her.
Check out the www. shefaro website. She advertises many breeds of puppies for sale all the time. Listed you will find Borzoi, Saluki, Ibizan Hounds, Greyhounds, several breeds of livestock protection dogs and crossbreds. Can you say puppymill? She is advertising a litter of borzoi right now and soon will be advertising greyhound puppies. Sherry is also advertising Saluki and Ibizan hounds for sale, too!!
Sherry Rodarmor operates in true puppy mill fashion--NO health testing, of course, that would cut into her profit margin. She breeds bitches very young and on every season to her own studs--no one else will provide her stud dogs to use, and the environment that she raises the puppies in is hardly ideal. She lives on a small acreage that is overcrowded with hundreds of animals, plus the huge numbers of dogs. I know that she has had multiple health inspections and has been recently cited for all of the fecal material in her yard. Yuck. Which is a strong argument for WHY puppy buyers should go to a breeder's premises!
Owing to Sherry's horrible reputation, no ethical breeder will sell her dogs, and she has been trying to buy greyhounds from overseas. I heard the US greyhound breeders put out a "red alert". and so now, thankfully, everyone is on to her.
A person in Borzoi Club
of America turned her in for falsifying papers and AKC came to her property
to check things out. She lost a lawsuit as a result of that DNA
investigation with AKC. She can no longer register Borzoi without DNA with the AKC, so she
is going to UKC shows and Int'l shows. She quickly resigned from the Borzoi Club of America before they booted her.
Sherry Rodarmor filed bankruptcy in 2004, the word is that a disgruntled customer took her to the cleaners. Sherry Rodarmor doesn't work, and makes a living solely off of the backs of her dogs.
She has had multiple lawsuits filed against her for various crimes. You can check out the Civil cases in
Lying and ranting are the very least of Sherry's infractions in this
lifetime.
She has stiffed handlers and others who have provided services for her. She
has falsified papers, rabies certificates, refused to refund money until
someone sued, called peoples places of work and told lies about them, left
filthy messages on recorders, bred guarding dogs and called them rescues! Elaine Summerhill went back to the archives of Sherry's own website to to prove that one! ( Sherry's own writing told
on herself...but she lies about that and everything and everybody anyway)
I heard that she has been trying to impersoniate another greyhound breeder, by stealing photos and using their kennel name in her keywords and links. She is always trying to ride on the successes of others, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Sherry Rodarmor has pages and pages of horrible lies and twisted writing defaming people she has issues with on her Shefaro website. I think Sherry is doing an excellent job of showing the public just exactly what kind of person she is. It becomes immediately apparent by Sherry's own writing that she is definitely not all there and is a very sick and hateful person.

I know that when she does come to dog shows she is all alone, because no one wants to be seen standing anywhere near her. Sherry is not a nice person. She has been a boil on the butt of humanity for
many years in the dog world.
Now she is claiming to be a "world champion greyhound breeder" and is using her webpage to slander other breeders. She got a very poor quality AKC greyhound from Mary Jane Peterson and bred it to a spooky as hell track dog. I have a friend that saw that poor animal at a recent lure course and he wouldn't even run. He acted scared of Sherry, and the field trial officials told her to quit traumatizing the dog. So she takes him home and breeds him and is now puppy milling greyhounds. The Greyhound people are up in arms about it.
In the past, Susan St John Brown and Terry Inlow were certainly duped into placing the
dogs (Ibizans) with her but they did not do their homework, either. Both sorely regret placing dogs with Sherry and now warn others.I have
spoken with Terry on a number of occasions about his experiences with her.
Sherry Rodarmor is also operating a rescue con--trying to bilk funds from the public by claiming she is a "non profit rescue." She has already been turned into the IRS for it with documentation taken from her webpages.
Sherry Rodarmor can be blamed for the current restrictive dog legislation that is descending on all dog breeders in Texas. This is just another example of one rotten apple ruining it for the good ones.
Some good words of advice
Consumers, beware Sherry Rodarmor of Shefaro! Deal with reputable dog breeders! Contact the AKC breed clubs for references on responsible breeders! In order for a person to be a member of an AKC breed club, they have to abide by a Code of Ethics and behave responsibly in a manner that is not detrimental to the breed.
By her own history Sherry Rodarmor is a person sans ethics and morals and her puppy mill practices reveal clearly that she is not a responsible breeder.

I would just like to defend Shefaro - solely on how her love of the breed (Borzoi) comes off in ALL of the puppies she sells. This term has become our household cliche everytime one of our 2 Borzoi's meets a new person or animal for the first time. As aloof as they can be at times, our boys are so well mannered and their foundation of their warm, loving personality has become known to many of our friends and family as - Shefaro Tempermant.
I am not here to rebut some of the things that have happened in the past with some of you, and by reading what this ROR states above, I can only imagine that this person is quite upset for whatever reason. But by looking at your comments - and I quote: "I heard, I hear, someone told me....etc." Most of your report is hearsay. And that is really no way to go through life - looking for others to bolster your own ill-will or negative stance on someone who you've probably never met or had the opportunity to be around.
Sherry has been there every step of the way from the first time we have made contact with her. I could call her in the middle of the night and ask her anything about the boys and she would not hesitate to spend as much time and concern as it took to get through whatever was on our mind. She is known as "Grandma Sherry" and always sends her love, hugs, and kisses to the boys during the holidays - all year long....lol
If you would like to see Sergei and Boris and find out what wonderful and loving hounds they both are - you are more than welcome. And I will also attest to and tell you this - These dogs came to us as puppies at different times - 2 years apart to be exact. They both have this internal instinct of being naturally calm and very passive...don't get me wrong, they are a good judge of human character and will form their own opinon on the type of person or animal that they come into contact with. But honestly, there is not a mean bone in either one of their bodies.
If it is not to your approval the way she runs her business - then stay out of it. It's NOT your business. Don't slander her by stating unfounded and alleged accusations of "defective dogs" when you cannot prove otherwise. You, IMHO, seem to be a person filled with animosity and what seems like - almost hatred. And personally, I don't think that a Borzoi would EVER be the right breed of dog for you. They (the Borzoi) know who they will love and trust with their lives - and it certainly wouldn't be a person with this type of personality. I imagine that someone like this would have a scared, cowering sighthound who would be forever looking for a loving family. Sad, but true. A person who has the time to write such negative hearsay should probably own an inner-city, basement-bred Pitbull.

Regarding the AKC greyhound obtained from Ms. Peterson of Boerne, TX, Lola Rouge....
Lola has had three (3) litters of pups and she is only 4 years old. Her first litter was whelped when she was 2 years and 2 months old in Sept 2008 and her other litters have followed on a yearly bases in Aug 2009 and, most recently, in Jan 2011.
This is one sign of someone who believes in breeding dogs young & often, normally on every heat cycle. Many of us are just waiting to see if Lola winds up in rescue, when she's done being bred.
To reiterate the above comments - "beware Sherry Rodarmor of Shefaro!"

I am the breeder of the AKC female greyhound Lola. Sherry has taken excellant care of her.
I saw the b***h at March shows and she was in wonderful condition and outgoing. She finished her championship In April The March shows were majors and there was adult bitches entered not just puppies.
I have known Sherry for over 20 years and when I see her at shows her dogs are in excellant condition. I have seen her salukis,borzos and I hounds at shows.
I sold her a greyhound of good quality and resennt people I dont know saying bad things about LOLA. Her pups looked very nice and well cared for.
