I have had a Sears Home Protection Warranty for approximately 16 years. 

Two years ago, under the terms of the existing warranty, they agreed to replace my oven.  They delayed me over a year in issuing a claim number by which I could select for installation a new oven.  They then promised delivery by 12/20/21 (during these times, the warranty was fully paid and in effect). 

The oven eventaully was delivered in Marh, 2022.  At that time I had not renewed my warranty (pending observation of how they handled the then under-warranty promise of a new oven, its installation and removal of the broken oven). 

Sears informed me that they delivered the oven while my warranty was in effect, but since I allowed the waranty of 16 years to lapse in Feb. 2022 they would not honor installment or removal (despite the FACT that our agreement was come to (in writing) two years earlier while under fully paid warranty!  The issue was Sears delaying under-warranty compensation for two full years!).  This is dishonest and immoral and likely a contributant to the bankrupcy issues facing this inept company.

I wasted at least 20 hours of useless communications and two years of my life absent a functioning oven.  Sears is eiter criminally managed or fundamentally inept or both.
