LAST APRIL, 2009 I WENT TO PURRFECT AUTO IN HENDERSON TO HAVE A FULL TRANSMISSION SERVICE. THIS INCLUDED FILTER, GASGET AND OIL. LAST MONTH I TOOK MY CAR BACK TO THEM FOR AN OIL CHANGE. 2 WEES LATER I NOTICED A TRANSMISSION OIL LEAK IN THE REAR OF MY CAR. ON SATURDAY JUNE 26, 2010 I TOOK MY CAR BACK INTO PURRFECT AUTO SERVICES TO SEE WHY MY CAR WAS LEAKING TRANSMISSION OIL. THEY TOLD ME THAT MY PAN GASKIT TO MY TRNASMISSION WAS OLD AND NEEDED REPLACE WHICH WAS CAUSING THE LEAK. I PAID THEM $ 175.00 TO HAVE THE GASKIT REPLACED. ON SUNDAY THE VERY NEXT DAY I NOTICED THE LEAK WAS STILL THERE. I CALLED PURRFECT AUTO SERVICES AND SPOKE TO JASON, AND I TOLD HIM MY CAR WAS STILL LEAKING TRANSMISSION OIL. I ALSO REMINDED JASON THAT I HAD THIS FULL SERVICE DONE LAST YEAR AND THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER GASKIT A YEAR LATER. JASON TOLD ME THEY DO NOT GIVE WARRENTIES ON THEIR WORK OR PARTS AND THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND OR CREDIT REPAIR WORK DONE FOR ME. HE BLAMED THE LEAK ON ANOTHER ISSUE , AND NOT THE GASKIT.. SUGESSTING THAT I MAY HAEVE A BAD TRANSMISSION AND THATS WHY IT IS LEAKING. MY ONLY QUESTION IS WHY DIDN'T THEY SAY THAT TO ME WHEN I WAS THERE ON SATURDAY INSTEAD OF CHARGING FOR FOR THE SAME SERVICE TWICE IN ONE YEAR. I FEEL I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY RIPPPED OFF BY PURRFECT AUTO AND THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE NOW I SEE I AM NOT THERE ONLY VICTIM. I SEE THEY WERE CLOSED DOWN ALL TOGETHER IN CALIFORNIA. I HEAR THE NEVADA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE IS WORKING ON CLOSING THEM DOWN HERE, I HOPE THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL.

I WAS A VICTIM OF JASON OF PURRFECT AUTO SERVICE TOO. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY FORD EXPLORER NOT SHIFTING SO I TOOK IT TO PURRFECT AUTO ON EASTERN. AFTER $1,200 OF REPAIRS, MY TRUCK STILL DID THE SAME THING. THEY TRIED TO TELL ME THAT THEY ONLY FIXED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND CLAIMED THEY NEVER TEST DROVE MY TRUCK. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS ADMISSION OF GUILT? THE MANAGERS AT THE TIME WERE HUTCH AND JASON. FUNNY THING IS, 3 DAYS AFTER I GOT MY TRUCK BACK, THEY WERE ALL OVER THE NEWS. THIS JASON GUY WAS CONFRONTED ON LIVE TV ABOUT WHY UNNECESSARY REPAIRS WERE DONE TO THE TV STATION'S UNDERCOVER VEHICLE. HE LOOKED LIKE A CAT THAT SWALLOWED THE CANARY. AT THE TIME I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, BUT NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK. IT'S MIND BOGGLING TO ME WHY THESE PEOPLE ARE STILL IN BUSINESS, I FOR ONE WILL NEVER RETURN TO PURRFECT AUTO SERVICE.
