Purrfect Auto Service Carged for an OIL FILTER CHANGE and did't change it but charged me!! Las Vegas Nevada
I have been going to Purrfect Automive Service at 4810 S. Fort Apache Road Las Vegas, NV 89147 for approximately 3 years of and on. I have hdad problems in the past but over the last 3 years they claim to have changed management and owners...ect. The last time I went there it was May 27th 2013 to have the oil & Filter changed on my Audi A6 Quattro. It takes synthetic, so I brought in my own oil & filter to take advantage of the special they had been promoting. They also offer FREE tire rotation with the service. They pull the car out after 1hour and 45 minutes.
I pay the bill, my wife and I get in the car and she notices my oil & filter are still in the back seat. I had been VERY clear that my vehicle take synthetic oil and told them where it was in the car. They said they had a rookie do it and they will pull it back around to re-do it! This time I stood there an watched their every move. Here is where I totally lost it!! They first RIPPED my engine cover back (I knwe they had done it before) and couldn't get the OIL filter off. Once they got it off, I realized it was they same one that was on there before, because I had put it on!! They never put a new one on.
Then when they started draining the oil, I saw it was FILTHY and knew right away that they had not even changed my oil. As I said, I was furious. If it wasn't for my wife, I am almost certian I would have gone to jail that day! They put on my NEW filter and put my oil in and through my wife's insistance refunded us our money. Only because they were CAUGHT! How many other customers have they ripped off. What makes matters worse is I am over hearing these idiots tell some ill informed women that she needed things that were clearly OK.
I will NEVER go back there and will make my experience known to every person I can. Networking and the internet is a STRONG TOOL !! So, be carefully before crossing a consumer, it will cost you thousands down the road!!
