Multiple calls were made, multiple voicemails left. I had to incessantly call over a period of a week to even get a showing. The apartments they manage are horrid, they have had issues with the community, including a scathing article written about them (http://www.timescall.com/news_story.asp?ID=20712)
Once shown, they asked me to come up to meet with them, I surrendered my $20 for the background check (no receipt given), and they noticed an eviction on my record, however Alana stated that it wouldn't be a problem, because they had proof that I had been elsewhere at the time. They had the proof.
This story changed in the next few days. Multiple calls, to the office and to cell phones, multiple messages. No returns. I finally got ahold of Alana, and she mentioned that they denied my application, even though I had met all other requirements, I had an eviction on my record from 8 years ago (that wasnt mine) and that now I had to prove that it wasnt me. How? Either way, she was about to brush me off, and I decided to press the issue. She made an "appointment" with me for 9am on a Monday. Hmm, when my co-signer called in, they mentioned that yes, I had an appointment, at, oh, 8am. So....we obviously have some organizational issues here on top of the unprofessional attitude and actions of this staff. I decided not to bother with them and their ghetto apartments, I shouldn't have to beg the owner to give him money. Ridiculous.

Im currently living in one of their rentals . I wish they didnt get us in here . They have been nothing but trouble . I know of whom your speaking of and i totally agree . Im in the process of spreaking with a lawyer about this matter. We lived here for a 2 weeks before we noticed water in the basement and coming out of the bottom of the washer in the bathroom . Since the "people" in the office didnt explain everything to us ( which by the way the girl handed us the lease to sign and said " get ready to sign your life away" ) we didnt know if they did our maintance or if we did it ourselves . So i innocently sent and email asking then saying if you do we have a leak . Then i called and left a message no response . So I called again no response . So when i finally get a hold of rich he starts yelling at my husband and i saying we are liars and we never called and he says " why is there a leak ?" you just moved in that may be your responsibility " I have never been treated that way in my life after that i knew it would be a rocky journey .Then the tree people came to cut trees which by the way we didnt get any notice . They broke two pots and broke the fence handle i called to see if it was them or someone was trying to break in . They say " i dont know let me check" yes we did so i told them what happend and didnt care or say sorry . Then we find out the owners are selling so we have people coming in and out not to mention not only are they selling their also trying to rent it out at the same time till it sells . But they are not advirtising that on their site just that theres a house for rent . they are very devious and disrespectful thats ok God can handle it better than i can .
