My Pampered Chef experience: Pampered chef has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from this type of company! They use every excuse in the book for hold times well exceeding an hour and never have been honest yet, so I have called several times now.  Emails are not responded to! Forget the online help form! They lie and lie to keep your money even after sending you confirmation your order has been canceled.

I clicked on a link my consultant gave me but noticed as soon as I checked out that Pampered Chef’s website gave credit to another consultant. I called immediately but they were closed for the weekend, so I filled out their online form for assistance. Still no response from that except for an email with a return shipping label for an item that had not even been shipped!  I called Pampered Chef as soon as I could after they opened Monday (waiting over and hour on hold! Almost an hour and a half).

This rep promised a full refund and said it would be processed right away and depended on my bank, I would receive my refund in 3-5 days tops, but he said it usually only takes 3 or less. Well, my bank usually does this type of thing the next day, but I waited longer figuring it was on Pampered Chef’s end.

After days, I called back and waited on hold for about an hour and a half again…  When I finally got someone, she told me I would only get a smaller amount because that is what I paid. I told her multiple times that I had proof of the amount I should be refunded being deducted from my account. The item never shipped so I should get the full amount. She acted like she could care less and said It could be 5-10 days for the refund but refused the full refund and then sent me an email saying I would be refunded 45 Euros… (she said $45) I questioned if that was equal to the amount, I paid  of $53.25, as I did not know the conversion by heart, she said no that is $45 …and said that is what I paid.  She resent the statement saying I was being refunded $45 instead of Euros. So, the rep was lacking in intelligence. Some of us may not know the exact conversion amount right off hand, but we know they are different and many of us Know approximately how different!  

I was unsettled by this called and decided to call back when I checked my bank and there was still no refund. This time I got a very nice lady saying that is not how they do business and that she actually saw another order for the same thing and that it had been shipped and the refund was processed for the full amount and would be credited to my account the next day. She assumed that the second order was done as an apology for the mix up and I was to keep that for my trouble and told me to keep it as such. She again reassured me the refund had been processed and I should be seeing it in 3-5 days.

I still have not received a refund and that free item never came either! Now, you can get a call back but this morning their message said they were not taking calls or offering call backs due to the call volume!!! So, they do not respond online, and you cannot call them, and my agent said she could not contact them from the get-go. 

I’m not the kind to give up, so I called again and again and asked for a supervisor and got one who seems to have actually looked into it but I have been fooled before, so I will believe it when I see it. She said the refund was never actually processed!!! However, she has asked the financial department to process it now. But wait! The other reps checked on the refund too and said it had been processed!  This time I was given a different period in which to expect the refund.  The supervisor was nice but nice does not get the refund we were promised.  I feel like I am just getting another run around and can expect the same story or similar the next time I have to call….so the next time I call it will be to my bank.

If you want to give away your money for an item or order that never comes. This is the place to do it. However, I would never recommend being a consultant for a company that has such horrible customer service nor ordering from them.

This has been resolved and a full refund has been issued

After speaking with several reps and waiting hours to do so, I called one last time, and spoke with a supervisor who told me that the refund was never issued. I explained I was going to file complaints and reviews and she totally understood and worked hard to get the refund processed ASAP.
