Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was wanting to trade in my current '06 Corolla to try and get a lower finance loan rate, and to get my monthly payments lower.

At first, they were willing to work with me....discuss my options etc. (Because the salesman needed a sale) But as time continued, and I stated that I needed to think about it...the sale started to go south.

The salesman tried the typical pressure technique....and finding this unsuccesful, he tried confusion....then tried empathy.

I finally agreed that the deal was good: he was matching the loan rate from my bank (which was the lowest) and he had marked off over $2,000 from the internet price.

Once I went to see the financial person....things went wrong. He tried to get me to sign the paperwork w/out my reading it. He became annoyed when I wanted to take the time to read, and ask questions about what I was signing.

He tried to make it seem like he was giving me the deal of the century...great

but when he did not explain that certain 'additions' would be added into my final loan amount.....my payments had not changed. I explained that I needed to think about it, when he said I had already begun signing and was now the owner: and I could not back out.

He was right....so I'm stuck w/a car that has the same monthly payments as the one I turned in....longer payments, and the feeling of being violated by a dealership that was not honest when I asked specific questions.

I tried to re-ask questions to understand the 'added' charges (which I was told were already included in the price negotiated) I was then treated like an idiot, and the financial person became nasty....and stated that I was fully aware of everything. He was not truthful, and I have learned a valuable lesson:

Not to ever buy from Oxmoor Toyota again!!!

DEALERSHIP FOR YOUR TRANSACTION AND GET COPIES OF EVERYTHING IMMEDIATELY! Make sure to get a copy of the CREDIT APPLICATION, and make certain that the SIGNATURE matches up with yours! Also check the area on the CREDIT APPLICATION where you put your 'MONTHLY INCOME'. Check it and see if it is TRUE & ACCURATE because there is a chance that it may have been altered by someone at the Toyota dealership. If it was altered in any way (usually it will be INCREASED), then get a lawyer & file a lawsuit against the dealership for FRAUD!!! Good luck, & keep us posted. POWER TO THE PEOPLE P.S. Make sure to look at all of your signatures on ALL pieces of the loan documents and look at the EXTENDED WARRANTY too, if there is one in your loan. If FORGERY took place, then you can sue them & you WILL WIN!!!!
