In January 2012 I purchased a 2007 Chevy Silveraldo from PC Auto Mall in Port Charlotte Fl. (same owner as Oxmoor Toyota) When I bought the 2007 Chevy it had about 55,000 miles on it, when I test drove the truck with my sales person Jose Figeroa the check engine light was on, Jose thought it may be a sensor and they would fix it before I took delivery. After about 2 days I was called the dealership to see when I could get my car, I was told that it had been taken to the GM dealer for the repair. I called the GM dealer Palm Chevrolet in Punta Gorda Fl. to ask when it would be done, they told me the truck had a problem with the transmission, this was never disclosed to me by Oxmoor. Farmer, PC Auto Mall.

When I found this out I asked to get my 2003 H2 trade back and forget the deal, they said my H2 was gone and they would get me a brand new transmission, this was told to me by Brian Irvin who was the Manager.  A few more days went by and I was told by Palm Chevy that PC Auto mall was going to repair the transmission that was in the truck, I went to Brian Irvin and told him I would not agree to rebuild the trnasmission. PC Auto Mall agreed to discount another $1000 and assured me it would be as good as new.

Recently about the 3rd of Sept. 2012 the truck started to vibrate and I noticed fluid coming out of the transmission, I took it back to Palm Chevy and they worked on it to find out the transmission was actually not the OEM transmission from the factory, it was for a 4 wheel drive, (my truck is a 1500 HD 2 wheel drive). I went back to PC Auto mall who told me they recently bought the dealership from Farmer/Oxmoor auto group. I have called the Louisville Oxmoor Toyota and I'm waiting to hear back from Del Farmer. PC Auto mall has also called the Farmer group to try and resolve this issue. The dealer that Oxmoor/Farmer sent my truck to be reaired (Palm Chevy) said the truck's transmission would probably be an issue in the future even when they fix it, the best thing would to put the correct transmission back in the truck. I want to return the truck and get another vehicle because of all the deception. I have reported this to the Attorney Generals office and I plan to seek leagle counsel.
