Two weeks ago I was driving along when my car overheated. When I pulled over to look, there was coolant all over the ground. So I got on my cell phone and called the dealership. (I thought my car was still under warranty. But apparently not!)Anyway when I called, I spoke to Bill the repair guy. (Who had my records and could've informed me that my warranty expired. But he saved that for later.)Bill told me to take the car home and bring it in the next morning. By the time I got home the car was so loud you could hear it a mile away.

The next day, I took it to the dealership to get it looked at. He told me that it would cost me almost $80.00 just to look at the car. I told him that "I think it's under warranty." He ignored me. (I know, my fault there for being stupid) So he looked at at and told me that he would make the necessary repairs. That meant replacing the water pump and a which cost me almost $400.00. I thought either spend $80.00 for nothing or get it fixed. I chose the latter. But just this once, I figured another lesson learned. Boy was I wrong. Two days after I got it back, I noticed a rather large oil leak coming from the same side the water pump was located. THE NEW WATER PUMP! This leak only happens when I turn off the engine. (that I can see) It is a large steady leak of pure clean oil. I called Bill at the dealership again and told him. He says that it will cost $40.00 just to look at it again. And that he has no way of telling if it's their fault or not. In other words. . .More money out of my pocket. I mean I know that the water pump has nothing to do with the oil, but it's in the same section. And I am sure they rigged it. And if they didn't do it on purpose, then somebody goofed and is not willing to own up to it. Just another opportunity to take my money. ( I am not a money tree!)Five years without a major incident and right after they fix one thing, SUDDENLY a new problem show up! COME ON! WHO DO THEY THINK THEY'RE KIDDING! Just because I am a young woman, they think they can put one over on me. . .AGAIN!
