The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Thomas Stridiron during an onsite inspection held by a third-party verification company with no biases towards My Business Venture.

My Business Venture is a company dedicated to helping their clients start online businesses. They offer a wide array of services to ensure that their clients are able to build the business of their dreams. Thomas Stridiron stated the following about his company, "we also help them create logos, social media, train them, and basically help people start a home-based business. So, if someone was interested in starting a business we advertise on different franchise websites."

Leads for My Business Venture are primarily obtained through franchise portals, "franchise portals are places where people go to look at starting a franchise or a home-based business. And our opportunity is listed on there and if someone is interested they read all about our company and they fill out a form and we would contact them from that and go over our program and see if they were interested. But we do not do any cold calling we only respond to people who have requested information after viewing all of our information." Mr. Stridiron proceeded to go through the sales and services process for his clients, "We have them sign and initial disclosure forms stating that this is their business you may make no money. So, we try to look and see which people are good potential fits for us and if they are and they understand it will take work and with our assistance then we will usually move ahead. But we do turn away a lot of clients because we do not feel that they are going to be a good fit and they may not be successful with the program.

Typically, what happens from there the person we go through the different packages we have and explain and show them everything and what the websites look like and things like that. If they say this sounds like something I am interested in, we take their information we then send them over agreements to sign electronically. We go through the agreements that they have to initial by, the disclosures forms that they have to sign for what their investment will be. After that they also have to send us over a check, so we can set them up for credit card processing, a copy of their driver’s license so we can verify that they are actually them, and then even after they sign and do all of that stuff they have 3 full business days not counting the day they sign or weekends should they decide they do not want to do it. We do not want to work with people if they are not 100% sure that they are going to give us their main effort. Starting up a business is difficult and if someone goes into it and they are not sure their chance of success will be very low. You want to make sure that they are 100% on board. Very rarely will we sign someone up the first time we speak to them. We prefer they take a couple days to read through the information to make sure this is really something they want to do."





CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – MY BUSINESS VENTURE

Mr. Stridiron was asked to describe how My Business Venture escalates client's complaints and concerns. Mr. Stridiron stated, "the first thing that we do is we actually have a quality assurance team that we started about a year ago. What they do is once a client is up and running about 2 or 3 weeks in that is usually when they have most of their questions. They will call them...It's a different point of contact other than just their consultant. We then email them a bunch of information...people they can call if they need anything. We basically say if anything arises and you are not getting assistance whatever the case is I am the liaison to make sure you are getting that assistance. So that is one thing we have done that has been super super huge. Another thing we have done is we have a trainer that….95% of our clients their packages come with a one on one training that will explain how to be a business owner, best tips to be a business owner, and what they should be practicing. That has been huge. And just having live people has always been our thing. So, if someone calls up and says Help I don’t know what I am doing... you don’t want a voicemail and then nobody calls you back. All those little things have been huge for us. Even though we have grown our complaints have shrunk."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Stridiron stated the following, "a person signed up with us and about a month or two, later his wife did not want him to sign up and went online to disparage our company just to get his money back. He contacted us and told us he didn’t do this his wife did and he wanted to continue to work with us. They actually put a retraction on there and said that this was never supposed to happen, and he apologized to my business venture. They have done everything they were supposed to do, and it is pretty much settled. The second one was on there was someone who said they took my money and I signed a buyer's right to cancel. Well, they signed it, but they did not give us a chance to refund their money. It takes 2 to 3 days to refund. They were fully refunded, and we did not even know they were there. That person was never technically a customer. The third one there is not a lot of information, so I am not sure who it even is. There is no name or anything. And the 4th one is a recent customer who we actually just spoke to yesterday and is now happy and we are going to provide additional services. She was upset about something she didn’t understand, or a fee and we are helping her and giving her 90 days of free service. We pretty much have them all taken care of." If people look us up 95% of it will be good but if a person reads just one or two things that are negative it puts a little bit of doubt in their mind. Being a part of the program, we feel is going to assist us and people can see hey these people are going above and beyond that if there is a challenge they will rectify it."

They con you into paying $4000 plus extra money for additional programs and software for your website just to have you use Sunrise Wholesale on your website and you could have done it all yourself by signing up with Sunrise yourself with the gold package for $99 and opening up your own website like Shopify or something for $70 a month. Even if you were to do that it still wouldn’t be worth it because Sunrise Wholesale’s gold package prices for their products are so high that you can’t be competitive with anyone at all. You can’t even sell on amazon or anywhere because your prices are so high. It’s a waste of your money and time. Your products on your website won’t have pictures sometime, you will have spelling errors and all kinds of problems with 14,000 products that you have to go in and individually change yourself. It is a big waste of time. Please take my advice and don’t do this business. Their university is a waste of time. They don’t even teach you anything except how to sell on social media and basic marketing principles that you can learn anywhere yourself and you pay all this money for it. Please take my advice for it and don’t do it. It’s sad that they are doing this to people. They say you will make money. You don’t. You lose money.
