Well I just found this site and I figured I would let everyone else know my experiances with this auto dealer. This happened to me several years ago and I'm still unpset about it today. Why you ask? Hell its been years,! around three years I think. I believe I was 24 years old. I went to buy a vehicle from midway nissan and I found the one I wanted and it was great, perfect suv, nothing in the world wrong with it, I even got a fairly good price. I was not upset about the price or quality of vehicle that I received. My problem was, and still is to this day that when I traded in my car they didn't pay it off for over two months after I left the dealership with my new suv. I still to this day have a 60 day late fee on my credit report. I never missed a payment on that car EVER!

It really looks bad on my report and I'm trying to fix it now. Also another thing that happened to me was about two weeks after signing the final paperwork at midway and going the five hours home they called me and told me that I was going to have to drive back and sign new paperwork and my payment would be going up another $35.00. At this point I was tired. I spent the entire day at that dealership with my mom and five year old son and it was exhausting. Once you get there they find ways of not letting you get out of the building. Honestly by the end of the day I would've signed away my d*** life just to get outta the **** hole. None of us had eaten anything but what we could get out of a vending machine there in the main building.

I can remember setting there and seeing all the other people in there buying new cars and feeling like I was in a sell barn waiting to be sold and pushed through like cattle. Really this is my fault I should've listened to my instincts and got up and walked out. I was fairly inexperianced in buying a new vehicle... ok very inexperianced!! They wear you down to the point of not caring! ok back to the part where my payment was going to go up and I was going to have to sign new paperwork two weeks after the sell. I had time to recouperate from the entire MIDWAY TEAM and I was home and feeling glad that it was over when I got the call. I told them ok when they gave me the bad news and I got off the phone and thought about all the crap I was going through for this perfect suv.

I called them back and told them that I didnt want to sign anymore paperwork and that I could not afford another 35.00 and it wasn't the deal that I had made and signed my name to, on top of that I didnt want to drive back the 5 hours. They told me that it was the only way or I would have to come back and find something else. I told them to bring me my car back, and they could drive it to me and pick up their truck and take it back. MY CAR WAS SOLD! At least thats what they told me, infact they man told me they had sold it right after I brought it in. I was tired! I think they send there salesmen to some kind of, break em down boot camp! In the end midway sent some grunt to my home for me to sign the paperwork and I ended up having a $35.00 per month higher payment. I thought this is how it works, and that buying a new car would be this hard everytime. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! There are great salesmen out there who really go out of their way to help you! I met a great guy at the chevy dealer in Safford that has really helped me a lot. His advise was the best and most valuable advice that I have ever recieved in trying to purchase a vehicle. I don't know how at this point I'm going to get the 60 days late payment off my credit report but I'm working on it now! I hope someone learns from my experainces and can gain knowledge from my screw-ups.

Exterior Paint Forced Service!!

#2Author of original report

I also forgot to add in that while signing the final paperwork I was forced into signing an agreement to where I would bring my new vehicle back to miday for them to detail my paint and interior. I believe that I was to return to the dealership every three months or they would not cover my paint job. I can't remember exactly how much extra they made me pay for this service. Somewhere around 250 or 300.00 extra went in my contract. I told them that I lived over 4 hours away and that there was no way I could get back and have them detail my suv or even set up appointments for such a service. I was made to sign the paper and accept the fee! It was that or the finance person said they could not make the sell. I don't know how to true that is or if it's even legal. Again, I was tired and a few hundred extra bucks was not something I was worried about at the time.
