We engaged with Michael Walding and his 2 companies, One Up Services, LLC and NXTLVL Services LLC in November 2020. Short version, we have nearly $60,000 invested in this and after 15 months, we have nothing to show for it. For more details, keep reading.

The turnkey opportunity pitched to us was to set up and completely run 3rd party e-commerce stores, for 100% passive income. After reviewing what we were told were statistics of active stores he was managing, and being told our ROI with Walmart would be 2-3 months, we invested a total of $55,000 for 2 Walmart stores and 1 Amazon store.

It’s been a painful journey from the beginning. From the day we wired Michael Walding our money, we could never reach him again, despite attempts via several communication avenues. The communication with the companies wasn’t much better either. Email response times were unacceptable, and if they did reply, not all questions were answered. Phone call requests were also denied.

Our first Walmart store finally went active 5 months after wiring our money, but it was in the red, and despite requesting many times for an explanation or phone call, I never received one. This Walmart store was suspended, 3 months after going live, in July 2021 for “prohibited policy violation” by One Up, and subsequently terminated by Walmart at no fault of our own. For the 3 months our store was active, our credit card charges were nearly $1,700 more than the commissions.

Our 2nd Walmart store went through the application process and was denied. One Up stated we needed to create a new LLC, EIN number, cc, etc., and that they would reimburse us for the costs. We never received reimbursement for this as promised, and after it was denied a 2nd time, we did not try again because of the issues we were having with our 1st store.

Our Amazon store supposedly went active in February 2021. However by May 2021, we still only had 15 items in our store, of which 11 were inactive. Then in September 2021, our store was flagged by Amazon for a counterfeit item. So not only the loss of money, but the experience has been a less than desirable one. And unfortunately, we know dozens more people who are in the exact same situation.

I was able to reach a satisfactory agreement with Michael Walding and NXTLVL Services.  Michael Walding and NXTLVL Services indicated that some of the issues were with Walmart and Amazon and out of their control.  We were able to amicably resolve this.
