On Jan. 5, 2023 I ordered a soldering iron heating element from this website ... payment through PayPal. No communication from them, so after 10 days I tried to email them with no response. I then filed a dispute with PayPal. After a few days I received an email from PayPal stating the buyer sent the item with tracking information. The tracking information stated that the item was delivered (UPS) to my door (but no exact address stated). I never did get the item (or I wouldn't be bothered writing this) and the tracking info states that the item weighed 18.2 pounds!!! The item actually weighs 0.9 ounces!!
So, PayPal sided with this company who uses the name BUTTONS HOME (HK) INDUSTRY CO., LIMITED. I ended up purchasing this same item on Ebay while in the middle of the dispute with Metalinsa.com, using PayPal to pay. I received the Ebay item within days from a seller in Michigan with great communication regarding the shipping.
I believe Metalinsa.com aka BUTTONS HOME (HK) INDUSTRY CO., LIMITED are located in Hong Kong, China and that the website is a total scam. Beware!!!
