MB Publishing House Shockingly, profoundly unkind and disrespectful in my opinion
I would like to share the experience my wife and I had with MB Publishing House, a publisher of spirituality books in India. MB Publishing expressed an interest in publishing Hindi and possibly other translations of one or more of my books. They were, in my opinion, quite assertive in their pursuit. My wife and I had a Zoom video call with Charu and Master Pallavi of MB. They reiterated their strong interest in moving forward with one or more translations. That was the last time either my wife or I ever heard from them. After the Zoom call, my wife and I sent separate emails expressing our thanks and interest in further discussion. We received no reply from either Charu or Master Pallavi. I have sent multiple emails since then and received no reply. No explanation. No apology. Not even the simple courtesy of, "We changed our minds." They simply disappeared. To me their behavior feels profoundly, shockingly unkind and disrespectful. That is my experience with MB Publishing.
