I called Hyundai motor Finance on 8/15/22 and asked if someone could research my account because I didn't think all my payments were being credited.  The online website kept showing my account in default no matter how many payments I sent.

They didn't bother to call me until the following day while I was at work and couldn't respond.  In the meantime, I sent them more money anyway to show good willing on 8/15/22 and they accepted the payment.  On 8/22/22 I was at Walmart

You are going to have to come up with a better story if you want people to believe you weren't actually delinquent. Your online account would also have had payment histories, showing the payments they credited. You claim you know the payments you made.

It would be really easy to find any "missing" payments without a single call to them. You wouldn't need to call them and say you "think", you could call them and say you "know" and here are the payment dates. Then you say that the system still showed you in default no matter how many payments you made?

How many months was this going on? Most people would have been on the phone with them the first month they saw this. Not just continue to make payments on an account they think is current. People who know they are current don't just send companies a "goodwill" payment.

So yes you were delinquent, and I bet if you told us the entire story it would be easily shown.

Oh, and by the way, a 1-day turnaround for an "investigation" is actually pretty good, many companies would make you wait a few business days.  Did you ever return there between the week from when they called you to the day they repoed the car?   If you did what did they say?

What is wrong with you? I never said I didn’t know what payments I made, I stated that the online account did not reflect that, it made as much since as you responding to this, Most people have a life and don’t have time to play phone tag with a finance company or go online to call people names and attempt to belittle them after they have already had a bad experience.

You may not work for them, but you have the same mentality,

What is wrong with you??? Why do you need to call them to find out how many payments YOU made? What about YOUR OWN records? If you made these payments with a checking account, what about YOU checking YOUR records?

Let me guess, if you have a checking account YOU DON'T KEEP ANY RECORDS and YOU never balance that account! Anybody with even an IQ of room temperature KNOWS the consequences of NOT making your car payment on time and therefore they know enough to be absolutely certain the payments have been made so they don't cause a repo!

What is it with you people? Doing this is as OBVIOUS as the rising sun and YOU DON'T KNOW how many payments you missed? Oh yes, its all their fault because YOU don't have any COMMON SENSE ! No, I don't work for them, so don't bother saying something equally stupid because you have no rebuttal!
