Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
MY NAME IS STEVEN. I ALSO HAVE BEEN VICTIMIZED BY HRS. IM A NAVY RESERVIST WHO WAS JUST CALLED TO ACTIVE DUTY ON 24OCT2002.

I SENT HRS A COPY OF MY MILITARY ORDERS SO I COULD LOWER MY INTEREST RATE IN REFERENCE TO THE "SOLDIERS AND SAILORS CREDIT RELIEF ACT".

I TODAY ON 25NOV2002 RECIEVED A COPY OF MY ACCOUNT TRANSACTIONS AND NOTICED 75.00 IN LATE FEES ON THREE OCCASIONS. FIRST I AM GOING TO FILE A COMPLAINT TO THE BUSINESS AND TRY TO GET MY MONEY REFUNDED.

THEN I WILL FILE A REPORT TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IN REFERENCE TO THIS MATTER. REMEMBER PEOPLE THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU CAN HELP.

THEY HAVE HELPED ME BEFORE IN A SIMILAR SITUATION. IF YOU DONT DO ANYTHING ELSE, PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB. THEY CAN HURT THEM A LOT WORSE THAN US TYPING THESE LETTERS OF PITTY.

OH YEH, BYE THE WAY I LIKE THE IDEA OF A CLASS ACTION SUITE AGAINST THEM. BYE ALL MEANS IM ALL FOR IT. THER IS A WEB SITE THAT IS CALLED "FAIR CREDIT ACT" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

IF ANYONE WHO READS THIS AND FINDS THEM PLEASE POST IT IN A REPORT AND MAIL IT TO ME. I WOULD LIKE TO SUE HRS FOR THE INCONVIENCE AND ACID REFLUX THEY HAVE CAUSED ME. THANK YOU STEVEN

If you sincerely want to file a complaint against HRS/ Household, do not waste your time with the BBB. Contact the "Legal Office" on your military installation, file a report with the banking regulators (Comptroller of the Currency), the Federal Trade Commission, and your state attorney general.

Keep in mind that military personnel must prepare for financial responsibilities in the event of deployment. Keep an address available to mail your bills to all creditors, anticipate the due dates to compensate for delays in the mail, or pay your bills using an on-line service.

If you elect to use your banks on-line bill payment service, HRS does not subscribe to inter-banking electronic fund transfers. Your bank has to cut a check and mail the payment. You should authorize release of the payment two days after the billing cycle. Taking that precaution should allow at least 17 days for mail and processing. Because the payment would be mailed within the United States, there would be no delay associated with the military postal system (FPOs and forwarding).
