called Hrs/Best buy to see if payment had arrived. (electronically sent 11-8-02. ) They claim payment is posted the hour and day received. Payment didn't post until after midnight on 11-12-02.

I asked them to waive late fee . At first, they claimed they could not take off late fee because they had taken one off before recently. THen, they said it was because of my credit history with them. I have only been late (two months recently) I have been on-time until Sept and October payments.

However, the November payment was clearly on time. I checked with my bank- bank of america- and they show the payment going out electronically 11-8-02. Payment was set on 11-7-02 to be paid.

The customer reps said that my bank could not have sent the payment electronically. THey said," even though- on your statement it show- checkfree payment- its really not sent that way- it is a check.

My bank said no- it was sent electronically- and it can be proven. ALso, they are rude on phone. THey interrupt my sentences constantly, but get upset and talk louder if I interrupt theirs. THey are not supposed to be charging high interest on acct.

We went thru cccs of Augusta- and they started charging high interest because they claimed that my payments were late- which they were not. They are deceiving customers and they are dishonest.

When I talked to them on 11-12-02, a customer rep said she would remove late fee when I called back on 11-13-02. They will say anything just to get you off the phone. Everytime I talk to someone in customer service, they have a different story to try and justify their charges, fees etc.

I am an ex collections adj for household / beneficial > I will let you know for a fact that no collections adj or csr can remove any late charges off of your acctns. They indeed did lie to you to get you off of the phone. Secondly, when you do a check by phone the first one is a electronic draft if you notice they dont even ask you for a ck # for that one just a $7 fee. If you do a second ck by ph during the same ph conversation then it is called a direct ck which has no fee but then they do ask you for a ck # and to void out that ck which is also electronic but uses a ck # when doing the electronic withdrawal from your bank acctn. Also your bank acctn stays in the database for any collector or branch employee to see when they assest your acctn
