We purchased video creatives from Juan Henriquez of HighMonks.com aka High Monk LLC. We paid for the work and he completed it.
But when we requested the original video files so our team could edit them, he refused to give them to us and claimed that all edits needed to be done with him.
This is something he had never mentioned before. We deserve to have the assets we paid him to create and that we should own.
I've never encountered this attitude in a freelancer before. He extorting us for work he was already paid for. This is unethical and is a breach of contract. He will also be reported to the BBB.

Jason Argall asked me for 10 videos for $50 each and I deliver that plus extra work in a matter of 3 business days. He didn't ask for an After Effects template he could edit. He wanted me to send my hard work to another company that can use my material to make money.
He extorted me and send me screenshots of all the lies he wanted to spread if I didn't send him the AE files. I preferred to just get his negative energy, comments, and extortions out of my way and I sent the files, just to find out that he still dragged my name and company's name through the dirt.
Thank God I already have an established customer base and they know my work ethic.
Be very careful if you plan on doing business with Jason Argall.
