Helzberg Diamonds Switched my diamond Greenwood Village Colorado
I went to the Helzberg Diamonds store to buy my engagement ring with my fiancee. I found a ring that I loved and we chose a diamond together that was not quite perfect, we looked at the diamond in the microscope and saw two tiny little white scratches (carbon?) I was very pleased with this diamond. The salesperson said that this was a SI1/2 diamond. The diamond solitaire and my ring setting were put together into a bag to be sent out and set.
About two months later, I was bored on an airplane examining my ring and realized that there was tons of black carbon that looked like cracks. I never noticed this until I looked from the bottom up!
This was not the diamond that we chose to put in the ring!!!! I would never pick an ugly dirty looking diamond to put on my wedding ring and wear for the rest of my life!
I went to the store to talk to them and found that my paperwork says that I bought an I1/I2 diamond! BS! They will not take my diamond back because it has been more than 60 days! So, I tried to get a different diamond of that quality, maybe it wouldn't be as ugly, they shipped it to my condo and left it sitting at my front door! Are you kidding me? This was another terrible diamond, I guess that's what an I1/I2 diamond looks like.
Basically its my word against their paperwork and I'm pissed!
