Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Hazem Farraj, former televangelist on TBN, scams older women out of money. He prays on their vulnerability and pretends he's their counselor - even though he has no counseling experience. He will contact people via social media asking for help for a business then somehow turn it around, saying you need to pay him to be friends with you. He's unstable and bizarre. Stay away.

I do not understand though why someone would contact the international authorities about him

Thank you for your response, international authorities were contacted because he was working out of Mexico and obtaining funds by deception in various countries. One of the deceptions was a charity. We do not live in the US and authorities were contacted as it happened via the internet. We and others have lost thousands of dollars. His family confirmed this. He promises alot of things, unfortunately he uses the scriptures to sell his message, he targets the vulnerable, mainly women. Whilst this is unfortunate and I do beleive he had integrity an number of years ago but the wheels fell off somehow. I am glad you have moved on. He is causing/caused a lot of pain to others and needs help with whatever trauma he has experienced. He is not a therapist.

I am writing in response to the recent comment. I just saw about Hazem. I am sorry for the hurt of your loved one. I too felt scammed and hurt by him. He called me one day asking for money, saying that he had some connection in Saudi Arabia and he needed money to get to New York, and that this was prophecy and it was going to change the world. I think he forgot I used to work for a Christian television show so I know the pitch…. Needless to say I didn’t fall for it and I said no you can’t have any money and that was the last time I ever heard from him and it’s been a few years. I woke up to the fact that I only saw me as a means to an end and that it wasn’t a real friendship. I’ve moved on and I’ve excepted it, and I do hope that he finds peace, and he heals his relationship with his family. I do not understand though why someone would contact the international authorities about him

Hazem Farraj, contacted my love one via social media after she was liking his posts. She found peace in some of them but was struggling with recent trauma and mental health issues. From what I have researched he may have been a good moral human being and then had a nervous breakdown, however he now uses his skills in a different way.

He reached out to her directly via facebook messenger and started gaining her confidence through his Christian beleif structure and maintaining that he was no threat because he was Gay and a Christian. He also mentioned he had a tribe of followers that could help her, Victoria was noted and that God had placed these people along the way.

He requested $1600.00 for his programme and then indicated that he was writing a book and he was poor. The amount of $20000.00 was requested. In the background he was sending innapproprite messages, and was manipulating her away from our family. He also suggested experimentation with some drugs, numerology, butterflies and talking to trees. He would also focus on his own PTSD to gain confidence and more money.

Money was sent intermittently via Paypal, we could not track immediately and monetary damage done.

I reached out directly to his family noted in his book, "Mohommad, Jesus and Me" - They were good people. It was confirmed that he has done this to others as well and it broke their hearts to see him act like this. He has now reached out to his birth family whom also seem like good people.

I feel some resentment towards him but need to let it go. The damage he caused by doing what he did is taking time to heal and is diifficult to forget. The money scammed was difficult to accept, The mental Impact on our family members and nursing back to health a love one even more so.

He was reported to federal authorities and international authorities.

Please be cautious when dealing with Hazem, Am unsure if he has received some help yet but he has the potential to cause others financial and mental harm. He has done it in the past and most probably will continue to do so.

I have kept my identity closed as my loved one feels shame, but I am open to further comment. I would like to see if others have experienced the same.
