Habitat for Humantiy of palm beachs price gouging used products Palm Beach Gardens florida
This is information purposes. I went into the store and I discoverd that they are charging for furninture and tile and other items over pricing them and they are used items. It is resale and they claim they use the funds to build homes and give it to the people. Yet, they do not use the items to build the homes and Habitat for Humanity once the home is built they keep the title to the property. They really do not build homes for people to keep. The used items are even more pricey than home depot and they are chargint taxes on used items same as good will. items bought new are taxed so when an item is resold over and over then its retaxed over and over again. Also, the government has a deprication chart on used goods and they are over priced that too.
They have an over abundance surplus and I am not sure what their goal is. Even is they are non for profit the administrative staff still will make a great salary as with good will industries that also, claim to be a non for profit and help the community yet, to what percent do they really give to the community.
