4Glam Sake Master Cosmetologist Dina Galore Bait and Switch Lawrenceville Georgia
The salon is located within Sugarloaf Mills Mall.
I requested a sew-in weave in January 2021. The stylist told me to pay a $25 deposit. I booked the appointment for a few days later. The stylist contacted me at 8:30 am appointment day telling me to bring in 3-4 bundles of the weave to sew in. I receive a cancellation call 25 minutes before my scheduled time. I was on the highway headed to the salon.
Dina Galore called and stated she could perform the sew-in weave at the time I booked. Therefore I continued to the salon. Dina explained that I did not need to buy hair for the salon had hair. Dina did a poor job blending my hair with the weave hair. But she explained using hair in the salon will be of better quality. And that I should text her instead of calling.
I booked another appointment in February. I had asked Dina for the total price of a sew-in weave before arriving. She stated $180 via text message. I arrived at 1:15 pm. My appointment was for 1:30 p.m. I had to wait 1 hour until Dina began washing my hair.
Dina explained that the salon weave needed to be washed and blow-dried. After it was washed it turned into a tangled mess! And it had a horrible smell. Dina continued to lead me on saying the weave was not completely dry. And all it needed was to be blow-dried. She frequently paused on my hair and completed other client's hair. One woman walked out with orange highlights. It looked terrible. I tried to put a scarf on and go to the food court for a quick lunch but another stylist quickly stepped in.
Dina did not blow-dry the hair. Instead she just flat ironed it. 6:30 pm is the time Dina finished my hair. And said the total amount would be $340. I explained we had discussed the total price being $180 via text message so that I would bring the right amount of cash. Dina explained that I should have known of her bait and switch tactics. Admitting to guilt.
She began cursing up a storm. Dropping F-bombs in front of kids. Stating I was capable of getting money from anybody. She took down the foul-smelling tangled hair and told me to leave. Mocking me saying " you can just walk around with your hair just like that." Fortunately, I had a pretty scarf.
Dina Galore master cosmetologist of 4Glam sake is a victim-blaming sociopath. May my post help others not to fall for her bait and switch tactics.
