Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Been in Florida for 10 years and my car insurance rate was going up every 6 months for no reason; The state has no-fault insurance which is their excuse to raise my insurance along with they say because of Hurricanes the rates go up and people without car insurance gives companies a right to raise my rates--even though I have no coverage for Hurricanes, no points or accidents, no DUI's on my record, and my deductible is 1000 which covers nothing-

My History teacher said, We have Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness--but my Liberty is compromised when I am getting rate increases every 6 months for other peoples bad driving records--costing me higher rates that I can not afford other necessities--and my constitutional rights are being violated--No-fault insurance should be illegal; My credit score has nothing to do with my driving--

And claim that your "rights" have been violated by a private corporation selling a product at a price which factors in risk. Please send us the docket number when you have it, Mr. Webster. I personally would like to be there in the audience when you get laughed out of court.

This rebuttal appears to come from an insurance agent trying to keep his job

Liberty vs Licence----Due to no real competition missing with other insurance companies in Florida called monopolies--is illegal---moving out of Florida is the only solution and not feeding the Beast--unless class-action lawsuit to stop auto insurance companies from ripping off consumer---People losing their jobs to no fault of their own is not a deadbeat---Go back to school and learn right from wrong---If I have to stop driving to stop feeding the rate hikes--that is a violation of my liberty and pursuit of happiness--

Your liberty is not compromised whatsoever by the raising of your rates.  You are free to not have insurance either but there is a consequence associated with that, isn't there?

And yes, your insurance rates can increase if your credit rating is in the toilet.  It is perfectly legal.  Happens all of the time.  You are certainly free to be a deadbeat, but then again - that comes with a consequence as well.

You are not being ripped off.  Come back when you have a real rip off.

Insurance companies in Florida use Hurricanes to raise rates even though my policy does not have hurricane coverage---So I'm not covered and the rate goes up?? Paying for literally for nothing--promotes drivers to go without insurance and save money from ripoff rates---and use public transportation. real sad--and hurts my liberty--

#2---Gauging of peoples money to help the insurance companies pay for expenses of other peoples bad driving is "Licence" against my Liberty--a violation to my Constitutional rights!!

#3---When the rate hikes are charged to Premium drivers means less money you can afford for necessities to live--for the pursuit of happiness and your life!!!!!

#4---Class Action should be against the car insurance industry for No-fault insurance as illegal and unconstitutional--UNDERSTAND ??

You may want to actually read the Constitution

If you think that your Liberty and Constitutional rights are being affected by your Insurance Rates going up, it is a mystery how you even passed that History classs.

no points or accidents, no DUI's on my record, and my deductible is 1000 which covers nothing

- Actually your policy covers what your limits are after you pay the $1000 deductible.  Do you have "Full Coverage"?  If you are not financing a car, and it is an older car you may be throwing money away on "Full Coverage".  You need to see what you are paying with that and compare that to the value of your car.

My credit score has nothing to do with my driving--

- I think we found the REAL reason for your rates. Most, but not all, States allow Credit Scoring to be part of the criteria used to determine insurance rates to some degree. You didn't mention your Credit Score, but with this statement we can figure that your Credit Score isn't good. If your credit score is lower, your rates will be higher. Because, as with other forms of credit, you are seen as a higher risk.

Perhaps you should start to look for companies that don't use Credit Scoring as one of the rating criteria.
