I opened up an credit card account with First Premier Bank in 2000. I have had that account for almost 16 years. I had never missed a payment and was paying $3.00 a month every month for what reason I really don't know. Now this has been going on for almost 16 years and I haven't used the card in years. This would mean I have paid $576.00 for no apparent reason at all.

I recently recieved a bill for 48.00 for an annual fee. I decided that I did not use the card and was wastieing my money every month and would not renew the card. I called First Premier to Cancel the card. The customer representative lady told me oh know Mrs. ----, We will waive that payment because you are such a good customer and we don't want to lose you. Just contiue to make the $3.00 payment and I will waive the $48.00. I thought what a nice customer service person.She actually cares about her customers. I thought this was the end of it. Keeping the card was my first mistake!!! 

They later sent me a late statement saying I had not made the annual fee payment and they were also charging me late fees. Now remember I have continued to send the $3.00 every month. I couldn't believe what I was reading, I called customer service and finally got a so called suprientendant. She informed me that I was right and she would take away the late charges and the $48.00 annual which was suppose to have already been taken off. I thought it was over and they had made it right. I check my credit score and check it and find where they have turned me in as missing a payment which was a total lie. I have the girls ID # and name that was suppose to have fixed all of this. They lied to me it was never made right. They refuse to make it right and will not even let me talk to the girl whos ID and name I have that said everything was fine.

They have me as having a 0 balance which is right, since the representative told me to send $10.79 for which I got a bill for and paid. But they also have it on my credit report that I missed a payment which is a total lie.

Do not do business with these crooks. They will lie to you and rip you off in every way they can. This has hurt my credit which I worked hard to keep a high score. It would be different if it was true, but it was a total lie. I have turned in a dispute on my credit file and also contacted the better business bureau. All I could get was that ID# and she would only give me her first name (the representative), when I asked to speak to her to get it straight, I was told I could not. I asked what good it did me to get it and told me that was for identifying purposes only. This is so you don't have a leg to stand on. They are the biggest frauds I have ever had any dealings with, the delibertately try to hurt people by doing things behind your back and not even giving you a phone call so you will know what they are doing. They are frauds and they lie to their customers.

Please stay clear of First Premier Bank. You will regret any dealings with them.
