Fingerhut Fetti Fingerhut/WebBank WebBank/Fingerhut I NEVER opened 2 accounts with them yet 2 accounts showed up on my Equifax and Trans Union accounts. I spoke to the credit issuer, a specialist there and her supervisor who all refused to remove the account. Fraudulently opened 2nd account At Cloud MN
Fingerhut Fetti Fingerhut/WebBank WebBank/Fingerhut I NEVER opened 2 accounts with them yet 2 accounts showed up on my Equifax and Trans Union accounts. I called the creditor who claimed they migrated my account into a second one and I have "no control over that.” I told them to immediately close and remove both accounts.
Unfortunately, both accounts appeared on my Equifax and Trans Union (I am still waiting to hear from Experian after much delay). I spoke to an attorney. As advised, he told me to dispute this with all three bureaus. Equifax listed as closed and then removed both.
Trans Union updated that they closed but refused to remove them claiming that the credit issuer verified the items. I spoke to a supervisor as well. This wasted 32 minutes of my time. I then spoke to the credit issuer, a specialist there and her supervisor who all refused to remove the account. Fraudulently opened 2nd account http: www.fingerhut.com
