I tried to save a picture of the advertisement, but could not get it to work.  Note:  I have never had a problem taking a picture of a web page previously.   Please read the following email I wrote to Dropbox when they sent me an email saying the following:   Hi Bill, This email is a confirmation that you've deleted your Dropbox account. Your files are no longer on Dropbox, but we haven't removed them from your computers. We're sad to see you go, but hope you'll come back in the future! If you've got any feedback for us, please let us know at [email protected]. Thanks,

- The Dropbox Team   NOTE:  I have to retype this text from my email because they have made it impossible for me to copy or forward my email to anyone by including the following addresses in BCC and FROM addresses on the email causing any forwarding or copying to not work:  "[email protected]."  Also the address given in their above email does not work:  "[email protected]" which is where I tried to send the following text:   "I just want you to know that I consider my experience with Dropbox one of the worst I have ever had with any software vendor in my entire life.     I thought Dropbox was a legitimate organization.  I suspected a problem right from the beginning when I clicked "install Dropbox" and immediately all of my files are being uploaded.  I don't remember ever agreeing to that.   Then after about five minutes of uploading, I get a message that "Your Dropbox Cloud storage account is full, do I want to upgrade?"  Then I find out upgrading is going to cost me $9.95 per month.  What the hell! is all I can say.   I immediately decide to uninstall Dropbox from my computer and get the message that "All of the Dropbox linked accounts from my computer will be permanently deleted."  What the heck!  I honestly feel like I have tangled with a virus, not a legitimate company.   Now I discover that I still have Dropbox issues when today I try to download a Zoom Cloud file and my computer says, "Cannot find C: User>Bill>Dropbox to download to.  This file is either deleted or moved."   Not only that but most of my data and picture files have already been deleted and even my Zoom desktop icon has been deleted but still appears.  What the heck is going on????   This all even happened before I logged into Dropbox this afternoon just to see if my Dropbox account still existed after I uninstalled it from my computer and sure enough it did.  Despite the warning about losing all of my files, since I already did anyway, I immediately clicked "Delete my account."   Now just a few minutes ago all of my desktop icons disappeared.  Luckily for me I went into my trash file and was able to recover them all.  This type of thing has never happened to me in my life.  Oh yeah, when recovering these files I found another Dropbox folder and at least 40 files called "Dropbox Business Files."  I deleted them all.   If I need to do anything else to get rid of all traces of Dropbox on my computer, I think you had better let me know like immediately.  I have uninstalled Dropbox and deleted the c:User>Bill>Dropbox folder and deleted my Dropbox account from your web site already.   All I want now is to be completely free of your company.  If one more bad thing happens to my computer due to "Dropbox," I am going to go on a social media rampage to cause you as much grief as you have caused me.   I am sincerely sorry I ever reacted to your advertisement."      Oh yeah, it is interesting to me that they make a claim that all of my files have been deleted from the Dropbox Cloud account, but not from my computer.  Well if they were not dropped from my computer, where are they?  By the way, I had not even written to them at that moment, so how would they know I was going to accuse them of deleting my files despite they fact that their company said exactly that would happen.  I feel definitely that I was being blackmailed to upgrade and with everything that has happened, I know I was.   After the experience with their so called "[email protected]," I am doing exactly like I promised.  I am going to spend full time writing to everyone I can to explain why I feel so aggrieved with their company.  I don't like spending my time this way, but I don't think anyone else should have to have this happen to them either and I sure wish someone would have taken a stand before I did so it wouldn't have happened to me.   I hope your organization is able to put a stop to Dropbox doing any further business anywhere.  This is ridiculous.  I will help in anyway I can and I am saving emails proving the above statements and everything else I can to help.

You Are in Need of a Lesson on Basic Computer Operation

I have used the free Dropbox service for several years with no difficulty. I just ignore their attempts to sell an upgrade and yet the service continues to function without a single glitch or loss of data.

They provide 2 GB of free storage. Yes, they charge for additional storage. You agreed to upload your files the first time you launched the program following installation. You had the option to select or deselect which files you wanted to upload. Evidently you failed to properly read that page.

Your problems appear to be a case of operator error. It appears you have never learned how to use the basic copy and paste feature of virtually every computer program. It also appears you don’t know how to take a screen shot (picture). Perhaps you could request assistance from a neighborhood twelve-year-old child. You may need a tutor if reading comprehension is the issue.
