I've had Dish for nearly 14 years. But, something happened to them since the start of 2018.
I called and had my service put on hold (Which I've done before) And, it's usually 5 dollars a month until I'm back home.
This time I asked for 9 month pause.
I came back to see that they've charged me $181.00 dollars. I called, and had the worst customer service experience of my life.
It was almost like I was speaking to a robot reading a script.
I explained (In detail) of how they made a mistake, and this has never happened before.
To make this short-
They're now sending me a returm box to send the unit back.
I have no idea on their situation, but they just lost a 14 years with DISH loyal customer.

I'm sorry, but you can only Pause the Account only for 6 months. Doesn't matter what you want or what the CSR tells you. It' s probably setup in the software for 6 months and the CSR can not change it. It's on the Dish website.
