Computergeeks.com e-machines consumer rip-off fraud Oceanside California
I bought a computer from Computergeeks.com which offers discount products online. the computer (an E-machine) arrived and would not boot. I called Computer Geeks. They would not support the product even though thier sales policy says they will support all products and have a 30 day return policy.
I called e-machines and one of two different tech guys told me that the serial number of the dead machine in my possesion did not match the model number that I supposedly purchased but that the model number was a T1855 which is a much lower end machine. Anyway, they sent a new video card which was supposed to solve the problem. It didn't.
I'm now on my 12th customer service call. I have the machine boxed up and ready to send back but neither e-machines or computergeeks will take it back and refund my money.
I say stay away from these two companies they are nothing but frauds.

I use ComputerGeeks.com (geeks.com) for my computer service The Electronic Geeks all the time. I have nothing but praise for them. They work well with me and my company. All of their products have been as described and work well.

I also purchased over $2,000 worth of products Through my buisness Jordo's Computer Services, and they ARE DESEIGHNED FOR TECHNICIANS AND HOBBIESTS. thats why there called computer geeks. they come without drivers, Operating systems and software.

I have received nothing but outstanding service with this company. Any problems concerning an order are always addressed promptly. My orders are shipped in a timely manner and with great urgency on behalf of the comp.geeks staff. Computergeeks is definitely NOT A FRAUD. Anyone with limited knowledge in computer hardware and system construction probably shouldn't try booting a system without an OS(Marge the machine won't work without windows installed). Dell, Gateway are selling very inexpensive systems that are guaranteed to boot.

I have had the best experience out of them. They are the only company that has honored the warranty on their products. I have to admit ALOT of the products they sell they DO NOT warranty personally. They are a Reseller not a warrantly provider. I send them equipment back, they issue a credit. I then order the same thing or another item. I have ordered over 10 items with 2 being problems but no problem with warranty.
