Quantex Pentium III suppose to be upgrade to 600 was not.

Suppose to have 81 pieces software installed.

I finance with MBNA because this was also on this ad.

I bought in 12-99. I did not receive till March-2000.

I supposely started off with payments of $70 a month with balance of $2192. I have had in shop on three occasions and had four people come over to work on. Each and everyone told me I got ripped off, I have a refurbished computer. When had in shop they added stuff to computer to make it work and each time of course charged. After first time the support team I had altered so they could not help me any more.

Now Quantex, Video Computer STore and all have gone out of business.

MBNA has gone up on payments, will not discount me, has gone up finance charge. I still owe as much as I did at beginning.

They will not stand behind the product that was sold with their name on the advertisement. AT least they could discount down to where I could afford to get worked on when need. Or come down on interest. annual rate of 21.99 percent.

AT this time it is horrible. If I send them letter with payment it ends up somehow making my payment late so that is another $29 late charge.

I have spent $125 three times and $59 once and $75 once and $32 once and $22.65 once and $21.95 once just to get it where I can use it the way I need it. The software was of no use, because all of it was either outdated or temporary.

I had to buy windows 98 again because quantex went bankrupt and I did not have the code when it wiped out. This happen twice. Tried to use ME it would not let me use it.

MBNA ISN'T A GOOD COMPANY

Hi, MBNA will add charges to your account, such as long distance service that you didn't authorize. They will then turn it over to a collection agency, even though the charges were disputed by the indvidual. The only way to beat them is to send them letters threatening to report them to the proper authorities (not BBB), then and only then will the company get cracking to straighten everything out. MBNA isn't a good company to do any type of business with. You may have to contact the proper authorities to check out their lending practices. Don't let them get away with it, if you can help it. I hope everysthing works out for you and that you get some kind of satisfaction for your trouble.
