Simply put. I would like to cancel your service. The reason is none of your business and I have stated to you very clearly that i want to cancel. If you continue to charge my credit card or debit card or if you continue to take money out of my checking account. I will report you to my bank or credit card company for fraud. It is as simple as that. I have had Compuserve 8 years ago my very first internet service provider. I received a 400 dollars rebate for signing up for 3 years of internet at 24.95 a month. My mother had American Online for a couple of years. I called and canceled on her behave. I have had Vonage broadband phone company. I have canceled with them as well and also was able to get my cancellation fee waived. By the way when i used compuserve and aol they was good for dial up at the time when highspeed wasn't available in very many places. Vonage i have gone back to they are awesome i would recommend them to anyone with good highspeed cable internet. You can do it with dsl but not as good and alot harder to set up.

The only reason it took you so long to cancel is because you kept accepting their offers to continue service at a lower price. I've NEVER had any problems trying to cancel my account with their "mother company" AOL, and they were offering ALL kinds of incentives to stay on (free months, lower price, etc). It took me exactly five minutes for the CS to cancel my account from the time they asked for my account info to the time i hung up. my mantra during the call "Please, just cancel my account." "Please, just cancel my account." "Please, just cancel my account."
