I called on 1/07/03 to cancel my Compuserve account after using it less than 2 weeks. I had not logged on to even use the "free month" they tried to offer to keep me. Still they billed my credit card and said,"I never cancelled it"!!!!

Don't do business with this company if you do be aware they'll charge you even if you call and cancel. They have record I called and that they gave me a "free month" to keep me but No record of me cancelling.

I told them If I didn't try and cancel then why did you try and keep me by giving a free month I didn't even use or want! I used this account less than 48 hours total I would guess and never logged in again after Jan. 7th when I thought it was cancelled.

Their customer service offers no relief other than a fax number.

There is NO consumer affairs department to talk to. I wouldn't use Compuserve if it was the only company available !!!!

I intend on faxing them and telling them what Rip Off they are! But they still have my money!!!!!!!!!

DON'T use them! they'll rip you off too !!
