Compuserve Rebate is a Ripoff
I have read other reports of CompuServe's rebate ripoff. I, too, purchased a computer in July, 1999 and was promised a $400 rebate. I filled out the paperwork and waited. CompuServe tells me it was sent October 4, 1999; however, I have never received it. To date I have called them 18 times and get various answers from "We are working on it" We will forward this to our supervisor and you will get action in two weeks. I have been calling since November and it is April, 2000 and still do not have a rebate check and the credit card company will not stop billing me. This is the biggest ripoff on the Internet. Don't sign up with CompuServe.
